Tres Fabu Events featured on KFBK!

Huge news for Tres Fabu Event Planning and Design yesterday!
We were featured on Sacramento’s News Talk 1530 KFBK’s morning news in four segments; along with another four segments on the afternoon show with Kitty O'Neal!

Debra Greene with KFBK NewsTalk 1530 interviewed Tres Fabu Event Planning regarding the economy and it’s effect on the wedding and special event industry. Tres Fabu Event Planning has been blessed and continues to produce amazing events for our special and valued clients.
As for budgeting and the economy, we suggested in the news segment (as we always do to our valued clients) to detail your vision and your priorities and design your event and allot your financial investment towards your celebration accordingly. For those looking to keep costs down, one idea to consider is a more intimate celebration with close friends and family in attendance with a more casual celebration to follow at a later date (or same day). Regardless of your budget, we continue to look to provide value – our biggest delight - which is to provide product and service at an affordable price while exceeding expectations.
Enjoy!
Warmest wishes and bonjour!

A Vision in Vanilla Satin

My sweet bride, Miss Ashley, was an absolute vision in creamy vanilla satin on her wedding day, this past Saturday! Oh my! Here she is in the staircase posing for our wonderful photographers, Cindi Kinney of CinZo Celebration Photography. (http://www.cinzophoto.com/).

Her wedding gown was designed and created by Miosa Bridal in downtown Sacramento. Michael did such an incredible design feat with this gown ~ and Miss Ashley was the center of attention ~ she was absolutely breathtaking.

The tale behind the gown: Miosa Bridal had sketched Ashley an image of her final gown design for her to share with her Grandmother, whom was incredibly ill at the time, and was unable to attend her bridal gown fitting. Her Grandmother gave her nod of approval and noted how truly lovely her gown was. Unfortunately, we lost her precious Grandmother soon after that ~ making this gown even more special to The Elliott Family ~ for her Grandmother did get to be a small part of it ~ and I know for a fact she was with them in spirit the entire weekend of the wedding. Ashley even held around her bouquet her Grandmother's favorite delicate embroidered handkerchief as a small memento of her close and very special relationship with her.

Warmest wishes and bonjour ~

Ashley & Gant's Big Day Saturday!

Saturday ~ June 20th ~ 2009
We are so thrilled and excited about their big and wonderful day we have planned for them this Saturday! We have been working with our couple for almost a year planning; designing and aligning up the entire Tres Fabu Event Planning and Design Dream Team to pull off their romantic, fun and flirty event this Saturday!
Please enjoy a handful of their wonderful engagement images captured by
CinZo Celebration Photography
Cindi Kinney & Lorenzo Bartone

How They Met:
Gant and Ashley met on October 1st, 2006, at their church, Bayside, in Granite Bay.
However, this was not the first time they had seen each other. On Easter Sunday 2005 at that same church, a handsome young man turned around to hand Ashley the pen she dropped, and with one look, our sweet bride was hooked! Once he turned back around she leaned over to her sister Carly and said, "Wow! That is the cutest guy I have ever seen!" Throughout the year, Ashley would think about the "cute guy" (what everyone would refer to him as because his name was unknown) and wonder when they would see each other again. At one point she told her family, "I don't know who he is but I am going to marry him!" One year later, Ashley was walking out of church with her family when the "cute guy" finally came up to her and introduced himself. Now she finally knew her future husband's name!
And 2 years later, here they are, 2 days from walking down the aisle to say
"I ~ DO!

I remember when Ashley called me right after her engagement, expressing she wanted to hire us right away! I asked well wouldn't you like to meet me first to see if we can plan your event ~ she said "No! I've been to two of Tres Fabu's wedding events and I knew the moment we got engaged you would be planning and designing our wedding!"

Her family attended Tiffany & Eric's Wedding Event and Jenny & Mark's Wedding Event on our portfolio page.

We are blessed and honored to be a part of this grand celebration.

Warmest wishes and a heartfelt bonjour!

We implemented this linen during our couples cocktail hour! Curtis Peoples, infamous and world-wide fave musician provided the wonderful sounds from the talents of his guitar and memorable voice. (Visit http://www.curtispeoples.com/)
Okay, okay .... now going back to the Moss linens ...... it was completely fun & flirty and looked adorable as a base for the teapot collection containing lovely shabby floral chic!

~ Carly & Jason ~

~ Carly & Jason ~
Tres Fabu Event Planning and Design is thrilled to announce the engagement of Miss Carly to Mr. Jason!

Jason was completely clever when he planned his proposal to Carly, and he did so in a truly unique spot ~ one she would never of guessed! The engagement location was the fabulous and fun ride on 'The London Eye' across the pond in merry England! Jason proposed on January 1, 2008, when they were onboard the London Eye overlooking the city of London and the Thames River.

Jason had made prior arrangements that their very own capsule would be supplied with sparkling champagne, fine chocolates and delicious strawberries. Jason had timed his question to Carly when they were at the top of the Ferris Wheel at exactly sunset when he asked for her hand in marriage.

Carly's sister and dear friend were traveling with them and they were waiting for them at the bottom of the London Eye when they left the capsule. They celebrated all throughout London the remainder of the week!

They will be marrying in January of 2010 and hosting their celebration of their new life together at The Library Galleria in Downtown Sacramento! Congratulations Carly & Jason! We are completely thrilled to be a part of your wedding team!

Warmest wishes,
