J.Crew's Already Planned Your Dream Wedding with their Wedding Fashions!

J.Crew's been edging its way into the world of weddings for a few years. They've established themselves as the go-to bridesmaid dress catalog, but today they opened their first full-fledged bridal boutique at 769 Madison Avenue in NYC---and it's already packed.

The appointment-only lower level's home to poufed white dresses and bridal suites. Antique glass cabinets hold custom Albertus Swanepoel headpieces and vintage perfume bottles; blue-lined shoes line the wall and bridesmaid dresses hang from the back wall.

On the ground floor, Miriam Haskell, Lulu Frost and Fenton/Fallon jewelry holds court in glass cases and around the necks of mannequins wearing denim jackets or anoraks over tulle skirts and wedding dresses---quintessential J.Crew.

One could leave the store stocked for the wedding, the rehearsal, and the honeymoon thanks to collaborations with brands like Cosabella and Histoires de Parfums, or, like most of the girls shopping this afternoon, you could just leave with a prom dress. The store's exclusive collection, dubbed 769 after the address, complements the tulle and white dresses. Gold sequined minis, Mongolian lamb vests and perfectly tailored tuxedo jackets make their bridesmaid dresses cocktail appropriate.

Of course, the best part is that a good 90% of the collection's exclusive to the store, and in most cases not more than a handful have been produced. So whether you're shopping for your wedding, or just another party dress chances are you'll own the only one like it within miles.
